Although this bed is beautiful it is a NIGHTMARE! The bed was simple to put together but we had trouble getting some of the screws/bolts to match up. Total pain! My biggest complaint are the BOWS!! BEWARE!! They are so sharp that my 21/2 yr old keeps waking up crying from bumping her head on them!!! Also, the side rail are not tall enough to keep her from falling out...which she occasionally does. We received this toddler bed for my daughter when she turned 18 months old. It is a beautiful bed and reasonably easy to assemble. It looks wonderful in my daughter's French-themed bedroom! My only caution is that the moulding on the side (ribbon) is sharp so beware. My daughter fell against the bed and cut her forehead on an edge on the outside moulding.
